I am hope Ophelia hits Flordia, I also hope that Ophelia destroys a rich white community in Florida.  That way everyone in the nation can see, how fast the federal government will respond to those rich residents, will they wait five days like the residents in New Orleans have to wait till responders arrive.  I don't think they will wait five days, the responders will be there twelve hours after the storm ends.

Then a Whitehouse spokeperson will say on national TV, we did not repeat the same mistake in New Orleans. That is why this response in Florida is faster, then the New Orleans FEMA has learned from their mistakes in Florida.  

Hopefully Opheila will hit Florida so more people can see, there are two Americas one rich and one poor.  The current government does not care for the poor, look at the laws they pass, and benifit the rich, tax cuts, drug benifits that rip off elderly people, reform the social security to send money to wall street, where only the shareholders who hold thousands of shares will see the benifit either in the form of a capital gain or dividend. 

Well, since the hurricane damage is all over world news and the lack of American response to help the people in New Orleans. The people of world now kno that the American government can'nt even protect its own people from flooding.  Now I can safely assume Al-Qeda watches the News, and you know what the lack of response and flooding did to Al-Qeda leadership it gave them a new idea. 

I foresee Al-Qeda blowing up some of American Dams that hold back huge amounts of water.  Al-Qeda leadership is thinking why  not u se a natural American resource to kill Americans and disrupt the American economy. A few months from now, a US government spokeperson will say, we have reports that Al-Qeda is looking at blowing up dams to flood the American cites. 

Everyone seems to blaming Bush its not just Bush fault for this Hurricane mess. Its the G OP congress fault along with Bush. Before the Hurricane New Orleans had flood projects that were underfunded by the GOP controlled congress.

"SELA flood project" In fiscal year 2006, the New Orleans district of the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers is bracing for a record $71.2 million reduction in federal funding.

Also, a study to determine ways to protect the region from a Category 5 hurricane has been shelved for now.

The district has identified $35 million in projects to build and improve levees, floodwalls and pumping stations in St. Bernard, Orleans, Jefferson and St. Charles parishes. Those projects are included in a Corps line item called Lake Pontchartrain, where funding is scheduled to be cut from $5.7 million this year to $2.9 million in 2006.

As for people not coming to help, they conservatives in congress view the poor people as a strian on government services and a plague in society. As the conservaitves say poor people commit crime, murders, rape, theft. Why should they help you, the more of you poor people die the less strain on those government services.  That is why their response is late they want to get most fatalities they can before help arrives. 

Does anyone remember the hurricane in Flordia?  Did you see how the fast the federal government came to aid of the residents of Flordia.  Look at the residents of New Orleans poor black residents.  See the difference the white conservatives will take care of their white voters.  Why should the white conservatives help people who don't vote for them.
