VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. -- The founder of the Christian Broadcasting Network said the United States should assassinate Venezuela's leftist President Hugo Chavez.

On Monday's broadcast of "The 700 Club," the Rev. Pat Robertson said, "We have the ability to take him out, and I think the time has come that we exercise that ability."

Chavez, who often expresses strident opposition to U.S. policies and influence, has spent the last several days in Cuba meeting with the island's communist leader Fidel Castro.

Calling the president of oil-rich Venezuela a threat to U.S. security, Robertson said assassinating Chavez would be "a whole lot cheaper than starting a war." So if you disagree with American policy you should be killed?  Perhaps later on Pat Robertson you can tell your viewers, we should not stop with Chavez we should kill everyone who disagrees with America policy, including our own Americans, the left and the independents. 

I have been recently reading a book called Blue Like Jazz.  The book is about christians.  The following is from the book Blue Like Jazz chapter 12 that I found very insightful "and yet another thing abut the churches I went to:  They seemed to be parrots for the republican party.  Do we have to Tow teh party line on every single isssue? Are the republicans that perfect?  I just felt like, inorder to be a part of the family, I had to think George W. Bush wsa Jesus.  And I did'nt.  I didn't think that Jeus really agree with a lot fo the policies of the Republican party or for that matter the Democratic Party.  I felt like Jesus was a religious figure, not a political figure.  I heard my pastr say once, when tehre were only a few of us standing around, that he hated Bill Clintion.  I can understand not liking Clindton's policies, but I want my spirituality to rid me of hate, not give me reason for it.  I could'nt deal wth that.  That is one of the main reasons I walked away, I felt like, by going to this particular church, I was a pawn for the republicans.  Meanwhile, the Republicnas did not give a crap about the causes of Christ.  Only one more thing that bugged me, then I will shut up about it.  War metaphor.  The churches I attended would embrace war metaphor.  They would talk about how we are in a battle, and I agreed with them, only they wouldn't clarify that we were battling poverty and hate and injustice and pride and the powers pf darkness.  They left us thnking that our war was againist liberals and homosexuals.  There teaching would have me believe I was the good person in the world.  Jesus taught that we are all bad and He is good, and He wants to recue us becuase thater is war going on and we are hostages in that war,  The truth is we are supposed love hipppies, the liberals, and even the Demorcats, and that God wants us to think of them as more important than ourselves.  Anything short of this is not to the teachings of Jesus."

If this is what some chruches are teachings using the war metaphor and spreading hate for anyone who does not agree with you.  Then the leader of your church is not following the teachings of christ.  Everyone hates someone at some point in their lives.  But to use religion to spread hate inorder to achive your self interest.  In Gods eyes a sin either a murder or theft is a sin. But to use jesus teachings and get people to do what you want in order to achive your self interest should be an unforgivable sin.

The blog was about Cindy Sheehan, and there was a shot given to President Bush manhood.  " If the President was half as brave and Cindy Sheehan is, he’d meet with her. If he has the balls to send troops into harms way, he should have the balls to meet face to face with an angry mother and explain why we invaded another country."

If God speaks through you, then I don't what god is talking to President Bush. Becuase God would want you to meet with Cindy and allow her to ask you questions? But up to this point you have refused to meet with her.  I find it odd that individual who claims to be christian and embraces christ becuase christ can change your heart, can't even talk to women who's son was killed in war that you decide was needed, and all Cindy wants to know is, what were the real reasons you decided to invade iraq?  A conscience christian would meet anyone, who's child life was taken in a decesion that the christian made.  Jesus met with his apostles and told them one of you will betray me.  Well, President Bush I do hope God will forgive you, for your sins. Becuase now, I know that you are not the christian you claim to be.  Becuase, my personal opinion is God would want you to met with Cindy and answer her questions?  Bec uase you are in a postion of leadership, and your decesion to invade iraq, and take the life of 1700 hundred plus individual lives&nbs p;does require personal responsibility.  President Bush right now you are able to avoid Cindy Sheehans questions? However when the time comes for you to be judged by God there is no way you are going to be able to avoid Gods questions, and I do hope Cindy will be near God, when God judges you? and I also hope god will allow Cindy to ask you the questions you are currently avoiding.

How did US get into the iraq war? Well September 11 happened, then three days the White House makes public statements "One of the given rationales for attacking Iraq was that Saddam was linked to the 9-11 hijackers through a claim that Mohammad Atta met with an Iraqi intelligence official in Prague in April 2001 before the attacks. The supposed Prague meeting was advanced by former CIA Director Jim Woolsey, using evidence obtained from the Czech government. But according to the FBI, Atta was in Virginia Beach at the time. After telling the American people this for several months the American people became convinced that Iraq was somehow linked to 911. The Iraq war starts on March 19, 2003.

Why did the US attack Iraq, well according to the president he visted Fort Bragg in June 2005. Bush said "Iraq is the latest battlefield in this war. Many terrorists who kill innocent men, women, and children on the streets of Baghdad are followers of the same murderous ideology that took the lives of our citizens in New York, in Washington, and Pennsylvania. Now Bush says we have to defeat the terrorist aborad before they attack us at home.  If I'm not mistaken did'nt  ;America attack Afghanistan the home base for the terror organization al-qeda after 911.  So after the attack on Afghanistan America needs to attack another country becuase America wants to bring the war to the terrorrist. So America attacks iraq, keep in the mind Bush said "Iraq and 911&n bsp;we have no evidence connecting the two" The opponents of the Iraq war say Iraq has the third world largest oil reserves.  Thats why America wants to attack iraq, maybe this true? 

The true supporters of the war say "iraq supports terror and its only matter time till iraq supports an terror operation against America."  The reason why I say true supporters is becuase these jump on the bandwagon supporters, support the war in Iraq, becuase they belive Iraq was connected to 911. Becuase they were told this three days after 911. These jump on the bangwagon supporters are supporting the "Iraq and 911 are connected story " to attack iraq in my opinon.

The true supporters who one day think that Saddam would on e day finance an attack on America, in my opinon are the real reasons why America attacked Iraq. Now for those true supports of the iraq war, who wanted to try and prevent another attack upon America.  The odds of America getting attack in my opinon have increase, I can't say when the attack is going to take place but most experts believe that another attack upon America will happen again its only matter of time.  I think the odds haved increased, becuase the terrorists who are fighting the American troops in Iraq and now getting hands on training on how to build to bombs, how to get past the American ap paratus in iraq. If the terrorrist are able to get past the security appartus in iraq, they allready have the confidence to penerate Americas domestic security appartus. There have been a few thousand sucide bombers in iraq killing themselves. I personally believe Al-qeda will find a way to bring some of those potential sucide bombers they have in iraq to America and blow themselves up in America they question is when it will happen.  It will only take one sucide bomber to blow him/her self up in America to once again put America into a state of shock.   

There are real reason s why America attack iraq?  The answers up to this part have been purely speculative.  Pehaps 200 hundreds in the future if this country or world still exists maybe the US government at the time will release the documents  containing the real truth behind the iraq war.

The site claims that burearu of land management can deny oil compaines drilling permits if they don't comenstate for damage to the enivorment.  However their is no way the BLM will deny the oil companies drilling permits. The oil compaines will just make public statements claiming denying the oil compaines drilling permits will cost jobs.   Its a win win for the oil compaiens.  Naturally I can only spectulate that this move to change the law came directly from the WhiteHouse.
