Government bonds are worthless IOU'S.
04.29.05 (9:06 pm)   [edit]

President Bush in the early weeks of April was out in country promoting his social security reform.  During a particular speech in April, this is what Bush said during his speech. "Millions of Americans have invested their savings in government bonds, yet President Bush continues to contradict the Social Security Administration and suggest they are worthless "IOUs" from the government. The truth is, according to the Treasury Department, President Bush will pay nearly $322 billion in interest on the public debt this year alone. That includes payments to China and Japan for the $896.1 billion in U.S. government bonds they own. But now, the President has declared the American-owned bonds in the Social Security Trust Fund worthless "IOUs." http://www.democrats.org/news/200504070003.html" title="http://www.democrats.org/news/200504070003.html" target="_blank"http://www.democrats.org/news... “During the state of Union address and last night’s speech on tv. Bush said last night that American worker can invest in US Bonds, as part of my Social security reform plan.  "Workers could divert about a third of the 12.4 percent payroll deduction to accounts in which the money could be invested in stocks and bonds." http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/7683797/page/2/" title="http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/7683797/page/2/" target="_blank"http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/7...

However earlier this month, Bush called US bonds worthless IOU's.  Why would Bush now want the American workers to invest in an investment he publicly called a worthless IOU's.  Perhaps,  ;Bush was telli ng the American people that Government Bonds are worthless IOU's was a scare tactic to get the people to support his plan at the time.

Connie Rice: Top 10 Outrages of the Corporate Tax Bill

Listen to this story...

The Tavis Smiley Show, October 20, 2004 · Although many political observers are still questioning what was accomplished during the session of the 108th Congress, the Bush administration and other legislators are eagerly touting the passage of a 633-page tax bill called the "American Jobs Creation Act of 2004."

Commentator Connie Rice has her own name for this bill -- the "Corporate Looting and Piracy Act." She says the legislation will create few jobs, but billions in corporate welfare. Rice says there are so many absurd "riders" in the bill that it was hard to pick out just 10 for her latest list: Top 10 Outrages of the 2004 Corporate Tax Bill:

(10.) The Irrational Exuberance Compensation Provision:

"To compensate the 1,800 companies that would lose the export tax break, Congress got drunk and decided to compensate 200,000 domestic companies not subject to the export tax to save them $76.5 billion over 10 years, instead of the $5 billion the 1,800 would have required," Rice says. "Can you imagine Congress wildly expanding Head Start by a factor of 100 to cover thousands of ineligible children?"

(9.) Universal Manufacturer Provisions:

"To fit everyone at this hogs trough, they've defined every business as a manufacturer -- so newspapers, architects and makers of sex-free movies are now manufacturers," Rice says. "So broad is the definition of manufacturer that Bechtel, Halliburton and NASCAR are now classified as favored manufacturers who will get over $77 billion in tax breaks. As one staffer said: 'Everybody with a Republican lobbyist is a manufacturer.' Contrast this with the constipated way we define the unemployed or the poor."

(8.) The Texas Tax Cheats Repatriation Act:

"Instead of being indicted for tax evasion, a special group of big Houston corporations that dropped American citizenship to hide their profits in overseas tax havens will be forgiven and allowed to take advantage of the one-year tax holiday and one-seventh of the former tax rate," Rice says. "This is a one strike and you're in bill that grandfathers in only select Houston tax cheats."

(7.) The Overseas Fugitive Profits Amnesty Clause:

"There's no amnesty for immigrants this term, but strike up the parades for the one-year tax holiday that will give a multi-billion dollar windfall to companies like Oracle, Hewlett-Packard and drug giant Eli Lilly -- saving them billions and costing the treasury $3.3 billion," Rice says. "Can you see the IRS lowering your tax rate from 35 percent to 5.25 percent? It would never happen..."

(6.) The Fat SUV Tax Break Preservation Provision:

"Congress was supposed to end the absurd $100,000 write-off for three-ton SUV's like the Hummer -- but instead reduced the write-off to $25,000," Rice says. "The write-off for a zero-emission Toyota Prius? still $2,500."

(5.) The Nicotine Pushers' Quotas and Preferences:

"Of course, for anything important like trade and tobacco, there are quotas," Rice says. "This bill uses $10 billion to buy out 10 years of quotas for tobacco farmers -- affirmative action of the corporate kind."

(4.) The Marlboro Man FDA Escape Clause:

"In exchange for the $10-billion bailout, Big Tobacco was supposed to agree to regulation by the FDA," Rice says. "But while the bailout got through the special interest gauntlet, the FDA regulation did not -- and will not become law, despite Ted Kennedy's symbolic passage of just such a mandate."

(3.) The Expense Account Expansion Clause:

"This increases the small business expensing limit from $25,000 to $100,000," Rice says. "This same Congress -- so generous with business -- requires welfare mothers to count their thrift-shop dishes and winter coats toward their assets threshold to reduce the amount of federal contribution."

(2.) The Leave No Corporation Behind Provisions:

"Unlike the Leave No Child Behind bill, this corporate boondoggle is fully funded," Rice says. "ExxonMobil, Home Depot, cruise ships, corn farmers, coffee roasters and makers of fishing tackle boxes, bows and arrows and ceiling fans all have special tax breaks specially tailored for their needs. And unlike the nation's children, who will be paying down our trillion-dollar deficit their whole lives, 60 percent of these corporations will likely continue to pay zero federal taxes, because their armies of lawyers will figure out how re-open newly closed loopholes that allegedly will pay for this bill."

(1.) The Middle Class Bypass Moves

"The same House Republicans who are the handmaidens to this corporate looting cut out $2 billion in tax credits to subsidize salaries of military reservists called to active duty! They had $137 billion for every oil mogul and timber titan, but cut out the only money that would support the only people putting their lives on the line for their country," Rice says. "And get this: They also cut the charitable car donation deduction that middle-class people take, cut the child tax credit for the poor, blocked restoration of overtime for millions of workers, cut unemployment benefits, cut and then restored war veterans hospital benefits and made it harder for regular folk to apply for bankruptcy."

James I did not know Byrd did that in the 60's and 70's.  I was not born during that time period.

James when the Dems controlled congress in the 90's, I do remember the GOP using fillbusters as the Dems are using today.  I did not hear of any dems trying to change the senate rules in the 90s to prevent the GOP from using their fillbusters.

Totalitarian, ok it not totalitarian, I personally think it’s more like an Aristocracy.  "You know who controls the GOP party it is the major American business leaders, not the people."

As for the totalitarian respons e, I am saying that the extremist ideology of the GOP party is becoming more mainstream.  To rewrite the rules is an extremist method of getting what you want, with having no one oppose your decisions.

What is a kool aid drinker?  I am not familiar with that phase.  I think from what I remember from history class, is that a 60's phrase?  If it is, I am not a hippie; I don't know how you got to the conclusion.  I was not a peace person.

This is my view of all these Hawks who are for war. I forgot what Shakespeare book this came out of. My quote may not be exact as Shakespeare.  But goes something like this. "Tickle me do not I laugh, Prick me do I not bleed, wrong me Shall I not revenge.

You know all those Iraqis in the abuse scandal, some of them may be innocent,  right now they are planning on how to get revenge.  You can say well they deserved it; However the Iraqis had nothing to do 9/11. What did those images do to the Muslim world? The Muslims are even more enraged with what happen to those people.  All that abuse scandal did was push those Muslims who were already on the edge, over the edge, and now they are terrorist.  You may not agree with me.  But remember those High school shooters throughout this nation.  What is the motive of the shooters, revenge because of humiliation?  N ow there are more Muslims mad at America now then there was prior to the Iraqi Invasion

Frist push ban on fillabuster
04.22.05 (4:45 pm)   [edit]

Leader Bill Frist is all but certain to press for a rule change that would ban filibusters of judicial nominations in the next few weeks, despite misgivings by some of his fellow Republicans and a possible Democratic backlash that could paralyze the chamber, close associates said yesterday. [link] I encourage Bill Frist to do this.  Why, would I support this move by the GOP.  This type of move initiated the GOP will just show to American people that the system we call a democracy is not a democracy but an totalitarian government. " 1 a : of or relating to centralized control by an autocratic leader or hierarchy : AUTHORITARIAN, DICTATORIAL; especially : DESPOTIC b : of or relating to a political regime based on subordination of the individual to the state and strict control of all aspects of the life and productive capacity of the nation especially by coercive measures (as censorship and terrorism)
2 a : advocating or characteristic of
totalitarianism b : completely regulated by the state especially as an aid to national mobilization in an emergency c : exercising autocratic powers : tending toward monopoly

The fillbuster was designed to allow the minority party to object to the majority party decisions.  Go ahead, GOP change the rule so your party has all the political power.  Show to the world who are the dictators in the American political system, fulfill prophecy that even a democracy can turn into dictatorships. The GOP always say the liberals don't know how to follow the law that our founding fathers set forth " reference to Jesus nation" well it  looks like the GOP does not follow the law themselves. The GOP wants to change the law" The law the founding fathers set forth" so there is no opposition on what ever issue the GOP wishes to create.

This move on the part of the GOP is the initial stages of a dictatorship government.

Falcon "Part of GOP master plan"
04.19.05 (9:43 pm)   [edit]

More than 10,000 fugitives from justice have been captured in a nationwide, weeklong dragnet involving federal, state and local authorities, said the U.S. Marshals Service, which led the effort. http://www.cnn.com/2005/LAW/04/14/fugiti ve.arrests/" title="http://www.cnn.com/2005/LAW/04/14/fugiti ve.arrests/" target="_blank"http://www.cnn.com/2005/LAW/0...

I am looking at this operation from the military prespective. I don't think this operation was what it the Department of Justice claims it to be.  I personally think, the right hates the left with a passion, the right wants the left out of politcs.  I also think this operation is a dry "trial" run for the GOP controlled government.  What this proves is that if the GOP wishes they can arrest, 10,000 leaders on the left arrested in oneday.

What better why to conduct a test, use the fugitives as the intial target in the test.  If test is a sucess then the GOP knows they have the ability to arrest 10,000 leaders on the left in one day.  The stage is being set, for this to happen in my eyes, someho w the left in America are now becoming the Jews.  Most people in the world at some point in their life has place blame for their problems on the jews.  This what what is happening to left.  Everything that goes wrong is placed on the left, even if the left had nothing to do with the wrong doing.   An example would be "Tom Delay is a perfect example: did the left tell tom to take those overseas trips which were fund ed by business."

GOP leaders call Harry Reid a obstructor or something along that lines.  Once the GOP uses the moral issue battle to its fullist extent, such as the moral decay of society is blamed on left. Another issue used by the GOP is the left are unamerican, they don't care about the your freedoms. Once the people get paranoid about their morals values, and freedoms being eroded. The stage is set for the purging of the left. The same tactic was use by Hitler in the 1940s.  Blame the Jews for the problems of Germany.

A year ago, I found a post that civil war will occur in America in 2005.  At first it was a great sci-fi story, but the John Titor story does have some similarities to what is happening in America toda y.  " http://www.tblog.com/templates/index.php?bid=jesusisangry&" title="http://www.tblog.com/templates/index.php?bid=jesusisangry&" target="_blank"http://www.tblog.com/template...;static=253207&search =john%20titor"

Hitler and Bush apparently god talks to both of them
04.14.05 (6:37 pm)   [edit]

After reading the right wing nut.  A comment was left that said Hitler and Nazis hated christianity.  I had to reply that statement.  The nazis killed in the jews in the camps not christians.

However after do some research on the net I found the following.

Hitler wrote in Mein Kampf: "I am convinced that I am acting as the agent of our Creator. By fighting off the Jews. I am doing the Lord's work." In 1938, he quoted those same words in a Reichstag speech. http://www.straightdope.com/mailbag/mhitlerchrist ian.html" title="http://www.straightdope.com/mailbag/mhitlerchrist ian.html" target="_blank"http://www.straightdope.com/m...

Stephen Mansfield, author of The Faith of George W. Bush, goes on to say: "Not long after, Bush called James Robison (a prominent minister) and told him, 'I've heard the call. I believe God wants me to run for President.' " Richard Land of the Southern Baptist Convention heard Bush say something similar: "Among the things he said to us was, 'I believe God wants me to be President, but if that doesn't happen, it's OK.'"

After 9/11, the sense among his supporters that God had chosen him increased. "I think that God picked the right man at the right time for the right purpose," said popular Christian broadcaster Janet Parshall. Gen. William "Jerry" Boykin, who got in trouble for derogatory comments about Islam, argued that it must have been God who selected Bush, since a plurality of voters hadn't. "Why is this man in the White House? The majority of America did not vote for him. He's in the White House because God put him there for a time such as this." (Boykin still has his job.)http://www.beliefnet.com/story/152/story_15261 _1.html" title="http://www.beliefnet.com/story/152/story_15261 _1.html" target="_blank"http://www.beliefnet.com/stor...

However is Bush really a christian or did Bush a pull a Hitler?  "Author Doug Krueger notes that "so many Germans were religious believers that Hitler, if not religious himself, at least had to pretend to be a believer in order to gain support." He adds, "If the [Christian] message won converts, it would seem that most Nazis were probably [Christians] too."

Hitler had to pretend to believer in order to gain support.  The speeches that bush gives there allways seem to somekind of reference to religion.

What the hell is going on in Ohio
04.13.05 (5:56 am)   [edit]
COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Police say several students witnessed the sexual abuse of a girl at a Columbus high school.

A 16-year-old student with developmental delays said she was dragged into the auditorium of Mifflin High School, punched and forced to perform oral sex on at least two male students while more than a dozen other students were called in to watch.

One student reportedly videotaped the sex acts, WCMH-TV in Columbus reported.

A student witness reported hearing an attacker warn, "If you scream, I'll have my boys punch you."

The same witness said the girl then dropped to her knees after she was punched in the face.

Students scattered when help was called, officials said.

During the attack, one witness looked for a school security guard but could not find anyone, he told investigators.

"We went back to the auditorium; the victim was 'butt naked,"' the witness said, and someone "was on top of her."

The attackers then ran from the scene, and witnesses helped the girl get dressed before taking her to a security employee, who is not a police officer.

Mifflin High School officials who found her bleeding from the mouth March 9 did not call police, and an assistant principal cautioned the girl's father against calling 911 because the media might get involved, according to statements from school officials obtained by The Columbus Dispatch. But the girl's father insisted on calling police and contacted them later that afternoon.

Special education teacher Julie Calvario said the girl told her about the incident.

"(She said) she was scared and told him to stop, but he hit her in the head and told her to be quiet," Calvario said.

Even after administrators were alerted to the alleged criminal act, they did not call police, or the victim's father, WCMH reported.

More than an hour later, teacher Lisa Upshaw called the girl's father. Upshaw said that when the girl's father arrived, assistant principal Richard Watson would not call the police.

The girl's father demanded that school officials call the police.

"Mr. Watson said, 'No we don't want to do that, we don't want the police,"' Upshaw told the investigator.

In his statement, Watson said he told the father to "go ahead and call," but not to call 911 because the "news channel might tape his daughter and cause her further mental trauma."

Richard Watson is one of three assistant principals suspended for 10 days. Principal Regina Crenshaw will likely lose her job, WCMH reported.

The girl's father called police after Upshaw told him, "This is child abuse. She needs medical attention and this is wrong."

WCMH reported that Upshaw also told the girl's father that he needed to take the victim to the hospital and that she was a walking crime scene.

Administrators reportedly warned the father that if police were called, the news media would follow, WCMH reported.

Police said they now have the videotape and the investigation continues, although no charges have been filed so far.

Druggists refuse to give out birth control
04.11.05 (6:38 pm)   [edit]

The conservative war with abortion has pharmacist refusing to fill birth control pills.  Pharmacist claim that it is against there beliefs.  Conservatives leaders also claim that it is against gods will and conservative women also agree.  That it is against gods will.  However conservative women, I have a question for you?  How do you feel about the Epidural shot during child birth?  According to the bible the book of

Genesis 3:16 says,”I will greatly increase your pains in childbearing; with pain will you give birth to children.  Your desire will be for your husband, and he will rule over you."

If conservative women support the pharmacist for refusing to fill the birth controls prescription, because it is against the will of god.  Conservative women must refuse the temptation of receiving the epidural shot during child birth because you will go against god's will.  If conse rvative women take the epidural shot to ease the pain of child birth you will be going against gods will.

I wonder how many conservative women will support the case on the epidural shot. Epidural shot to ease the pain of child birth is not what god wanted according to bible.  I have always said the only way to change the mind of a conservative is for them to experience it directly

Disposable income
04.07.05 (4:26 pm)   [edit]

The individuals with disposable income don't have to worry about health care or government funded services.  The individuals that don't have disposable income become dependent on certain government services for help.  The GOP does not care about the poor people.  I refer to the GOP leaders as kings.  First of the GOP looks down upon the poor as if they are a sickness "Cancer" in society. The GOP leaders knows that they are millions of poor people in America. They also have the business ideology where everyone is expendalble there will always be someone to replace you.  So why should the GOP leaders care if a few million of poor die.  There are millions of poor people left to replace them in America.  As for the individuals who vote for the GOP.  I wonder are they aware that they could be voting for tax cuts that you could be voting again st your own self-insterest. At some point in their life the possiblity exist that they will need some of the services that are funded by taxes.

An example would be recently the Bush team cut the federal funding for brain trauma services.  I find it quite odd, that the GOP says support the troops, and the Bush teams cuts the funding for the brain trauma.  http://www.google.com/search?q=bush" title="http://www.google.com/search?q=bush" target="_blank"http://www.google.com/search?...+cuts+funding+for+sever+b rain+trauma&hl=en& ;lr=&start=10&sa= N Has the Bush team ever thought that the some of soliders returning from iraq might have some severe brain trauma. As I mention earlier. the soliders are replaceable in the eyes of the GOP leadership. If a soliders has brain truama because of their expericences in Iraq.  When a soliders comes back home there is no help for you.

the attack on my grammar on has started.
04.04.05 (5:58 pm)   [edit]

A couple of non tblog user left a couple of comments saying I have bad grammer and I can't write good. I never claimed that I was a good writer or had good grammer.  Grammer really does not matter to me, becuase if read my blog and you understand it, then my message got across.  What matters to me is the out of box thinking that put into my readers mind.  So you can leave all the bad grammer and bad writings all you want.  Let me make it easy for my critics to understand clearly. I will place a disclaimer ahead of all writings from now on to let the readers know that I am not a good writer or speller.  The positive thing about this is all of these outside users leaving comments makes me wonder?  Jesusisangry is that blog so popular that non-tblog users reading it.
